A project that was already underway with Discovery Elementary that teaches social and emotion skills through theatre is taking new shape. Education Director Kendra Norton Dando and Education Intern Emily Prestby are adapting their in person workshops and curriculum to be delivered to the students virtually!
Not only are we thrilled still be connecting with the students during this time of distancing, but also to be able to support teachers and provide them resources to include in their e-learning plans. One teacher responded almost immediately, “Those videos are all so GREAT (no pun intended)! Thanks for all your hard work! The kids seemed to really enjoy your activities. You guys are amazing!”
